Unaudited Reporting Forms for all Green-e Energy Participants:

  • Unaudited Report Form for all certified sales made in 2009, both retail and wholesale. This form is used to help diagnose any potential issues that would make the annual verification audit more difficult. The completed form is due by February 15, 2010. Last modified December 2009.

Marketer, Utility and ESP Annual Verification Process Audit Documents:

  • Reporting Year 2009 Annual Verification Submission Timeline and Deadlines, which provides due dates and penalties associated with Reporting Year 2009 verification. Last modified January 2010
  • Annual Verification Instructions, for sellers of Green-e Energy certified products. Last modified March 2010, specifically to correct instructions for Columns 5F through 5I, which were transposed in the prior version.
  • Annual Verification Audit Protocol, to be used by Auditors. Last modified April 2010
    • Addenda to the RY2009 Protocol, made Febraury 11, 2010 and April 22, 201. This document calls out minor updates to Sections III.1.10 and III.1.23.ii. of the Protocol, which are incorporated into the version of the Protocol above. It also adds a half step to Section III.1.20.ii.
  • Annual Verification Worksheets, to be completed by sellers of Green-e Energy Certified products. Last modified March 2010, specifically to correct instructions for Columns 5F through 5I, which were transposed in the prior version.
    • Sample Worksheets for electricity products, which provides a simple example set of Worksheets for reference, focused on renewable electricity sales. Note that the data on these worksheets include generation that takes place over too large a geographic range for any one electricity provider; the data is provided for educational purposes and to get data onto each worksheet.
    • Sample Worksheets for REC products, which provides a simple example set of Worksheets for reference, focused on REC sales.

Marketer, Utility and ESP Attestation Forms:

  • Generator Attestation for Electricity and RECs. Last modified May 2008
  • Wholesale Attestation for Electricity and RECs. Last modified May 2008
  • Small Generator Attestation, for RECs from facilities 10 kW or less. Last modified March 2009, to correct a typographical error
  • Tracking Attestation for Electricity and RECs, to be signed by generators selling renewables through a tracking system. Last modified April 2010. This version is to be used by facilities submitting a form; older forms will be returned. This version allows entities other than the generator owner to sign the form so long the owner has assigned the right to register the facility in the tracking system to such a signatory. This version also puts a three-year effective period on the form.
    • "Requirements for Using Tracking Systems in Green-e Energy Annual Verification" has been moved into Appendix E of both the Verification Instructions and Verification Protocol, available above.

Marketer, Utility and ESP Annual Verification Process Audit Documents:

Marketer, Utility and ESP Attestation Forms:

  • Generator Attestation for Electricity and RECs. Last modified May 2008
  • Wholesale Attestation for Electricity and RECs. Last modified May 2008
  • Small Generator Attestation, for RECs from facilities 10 kW or less. Last modified March 2009, to correct a typographical error
  • Tracking Attestation for Electricity and RECs, to be signed by generators selling renewables through a tracking system. Last modified October 2009. This updated version is to be used by facilities starting 10/15/09, and allows entities other than the generator owner to sign the form so long the owner has assigned the right to register the facility in the tracking system to such a signatory. Marketer, Utility and ESP Unaudited Reporting Forms:

  • Retail Products. To be used for Green-e Energy certified products sold to customers that will retire the renewable MWh in order to make claims about their own electricity use. Last modified January 2009
  • Wholesale Products. To be used for Green-e Energy certified products sold to customers that will re-sell the renewable MWh without making their own renewable electricity claims. Last modified January 2009
