Green-e® Stakeholder Comment Period Open for Entergy Texas' "Green Select" Program

Comments accepted through Wednesday, September 21, 2022

Dear Green-e® Energy Stakeholders,

Entergy Texas Inc. has applied for Green-e® Energy certification of its Utility Green Pricing option “Green Select”. This new option is a voluntary renewable electricity program offered to its customers in Texas in two packages: a Large Volume Renewable Option (LVRO) offered to customers purchasing more than 500,000 kWh/month, and a Small Volume Renewable Option (SVRO) sold to customers purchasing less than 500,000 kWh/month. As part of the application process, the Green-e® Energy program is seeking stakeholder feedback on the application and the program as designed for Entergy Texas’ electricity customers.

This 21-day stakeholder comment process is your opportunity to weigh in on program design to make sure that the program meets your needs and expectations. Comments will be provided to the applicant and the Green-e Governance Board; the Board will review the application, comments, and responses, and consider whether to approve the application for certification of Entergy Texas’ Green Select programs (both LVRO and SVRO) as submitted or to suggest changes to the programs.

The application is available for download below. If you would like to review the Green-e® Renewable Energy Standard for Canada and the United States, visit Green-e Energy Documents.

We are accepting stakeholder comments on the application for 21 days—please submit any comments you may have by Wednesday, September 21, 2022. Comments can be sent to info@green-e.org. Please feel free to forward this to other interested parties. Any comments received may be posted on the Green-e® website by CRS staff.

Thank you in advance for your review and feedback on this application.
