Extension to Green-e RY2019 Verification Deadline
Dear Green-e® Energy and Green-e® Climate Participants,
We appreciate the impact that current events are having on normal business operations and, as a result, Green-e® participants may have trouble submitting their Reporting Year 2019 (RY2019) verification audit data on time. Center for Resource Solutions (CRS) therefore is extending the RY2019 Verification Audit deadline for the Green-e® Energy and Green-e® Climate programs to Friday, July 31, 2020 by end of day. If your organization cannot meet this extended deadline, please contact Green-e® staff at verification@green-e.org.
The extended verification audit deadline does not alter other certification requirements. Specifically, CRS will continue to enforce the annual deadline on procurement of supply used in a given year of sales. For sales made in 2019 (RY2019 verification), the procurement deadline remains June 1, 2020. As such, all Green-e® participants are required to procure supply to match their 2019 sales by June 1, 2020, in order to be eligible for certification.
