Pacific Gas and Electric Renewable Energy Programs Decertified by Green-e® Energy
Please be advised that Pacific Gas and Electric’s (PG&E’s) products marketed as “Regional Renewable Choice,” “Local Green Saver,” “Green Saver,” and “PG&E Solar Choice” are no longer certified by the Green-e® Energy certification program. Center for Resource Solutions (CRS) terminated PG&E’s contracts for certification of these products because of PG&E’s failure to complete the required annual verifications for the year 2024.
Although PG&E ceased offering these products as of October 31, 2024, any sales made between January 1 and October 30, 2024, are not Green-e® Energy certified.
Under the Green-e® Energy Code of Conduct, PG&E must offer customers of these products—Regional Renewable Choice, Local Green Saver, Green Saver and PG&E Solar Choice—a refund. Please contact PG&E directly to request a refund.
