Be Electric Studios LLC, a New York Level 2 Qualified Production Facility soundstage and one of NYC’s premier film and television video stages, is now certified by Green-e® Marketplace for powering 100% of its operations with Green-e® certified renewable electricity, including all of the independent productions that shoot in its facility. Be Electric matches its annual electricity use with renewable energy certificates generated from wind facilities located nationwide.

Electricity generated from renewable sources results in less environmental waste and pollution and displaces other non-renewable sources from the electric grid. The company’s purchase of electricity created from emissions-free renewable sources avoids carbon dioxide and other pollutants and serves to build the market for renewable energy nationwide, increasing incentives for developing new facilities.
